Flamboyant former star NFL wideout Chad Johnson has handed out a massive tip to a server in North Carolina.
Johnson, most known for his time with the Cincinnati Bengals and for changing his name to Chad Ochocinco (his jersey number was 80) before later changing it back, tweeted a picture of the tip on Wednesday.
Johnson paid the $24.39 bill, and added $1,000 as the tip at Stephanie’s Restaurant in Greensboro.
Johnson captioned the post “Proverbs 11:25,” a bible verse that reads, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
Johnson, 44, also hilariously wrote: “I once scored 6 touchdowns in Madden using myself,” in reference to the NFL video game.
Johnson added below his signature: “I love you.”
Johnson made the Pro Bowl six times and last played in the NFL in 2011.
