Officials are waiting for results of a blood test taken at the scene of the crash.
Troubled former WWE superstar Sunny is suspected of drunk driving in a Florida car crash that killed a 75-year-old man.
TMZ reports that the 49-year-old former wrestler and porn star allegedly caused the fatal March 25 three-car wreck on U.S. Highway 1 in Volusia County.
According to the Ormond Beach Police Department (OBPD), Sunny — real name Tammy Sytch — was allegedly driving at a “high rate of speed” in a 2012 Mercedes when she slammed into a 2013 Kia Sorento stopped at a red light, sending it hurtling into a Yukon SUV in front of it.
The 75-year-old driving the Sorento was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Cops suspect that Sunny was drunk driving at the time and officials are waiting for results of a blood test taken at the scene of the crash.
“OBPD has requested an expedited timeframe on the processing of these samples,” a police spokesperson told TMZ. “And the results will be made available as soon as the department receives them.”
This isn’t the first time Sunny has been in trouble with the law. She has been arrested for impaired driving at least six times, and earlier this year was busted for allegedly threatening to kill her boyfriend with a pair of scissors. Previously, she spent time in a New Jersey prison.
It’s a long way from her mid-1990s salad days as a WWE star when she was the original diva. Sunny was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011 following a stint in adult cinema.
Meanwhile, current NXT tag-team champion Nash Carter, 27, has been kicked to the curb by the WWE after his wife accused him of domestic violence, the New York Post reports.
His wife — Kimber Lee, a wrestler with Impact — posted a photo on Twitter of her marked-up face.
She wrote: “Hey @WWENXT this is my face after your tag champ @NashCarterWWE got wasted and hit me so hard he split my lip open. He told me I’m a wrestler so I’m always marked up. I’ve hid this for a year and even forgave him. But I can’t hide it anymore.”
Lee also accused Carter of spouting homophobic epithets.
