Last weekend during the U.S. Open at The Country Club course in Brookline, Mass, Murray triple bogied on the seventh hole.

The distraught duffer then tossed his club. It was a harbinger of links horrors to come.

On the 10th hole, he took his club and bent it in half over his knee.

Spiranac — fresh from being honoured as Maxim magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive — posted the club toss clip on Twitter

Murray must have taken it as an opportunity to get to know Spiranac better and gobbled up the bait, according to the New York Post.

He tweeted in response to the video: “Let’s see your club throw Paige.”

But as of Wednesday, Spiranac — who was divorced from trainer Steven Tinoco in March has not responded.

Spiranac, who hosts the popular golf podcast Playing A Round, is the cover girl for Maxim’s Hot 100 list for 2022.

She called the nod an “amazing honour.”
