A murder suspect surrendered to police in Fredericksburg, Va, on Sunday after authorities contacted him on FaceTime, according to Fox News.
George Pearson, 44, initially told police he wouldn’t be taken alive but backed down once he got the up-close and personal phone call.
It’s alleged Pearson, who faces charges of second degree murder and other offences, shot and killed a man in a Red Roof Inn parking lot about three hours before he surrendered.
Pearson was arrested shortly before noon on an exit ramp while still on FaceTime after allegedly fleeing the scene.
The victim was taken to hospital, but died from his injuries.
