Passenger returning to seat sparks debate on flight etiquette

A woman caught on video as she climbs over seats to return where she was sitting has sparked controversy.
Another passenger on the flight filmed the woman climbing over a row of people to get back to her window seat.
Twitter user @in_jedi shared the video, calling it “the most criminal activity I’ve ever seen on an airplane,” and suggested it was a common occurrence on the seven-hour flight.
The woman, whose face can’t be seen, is wearing what appear to be pajama bottoms and socks, as she hopes over three passengers: a man holding a baby and another male.

She doesn’t step on the people in her row to get to her seat, but tip-toes on the armrests.
In any case, the video sparked a Twitter debate about whether it was a gross move.
“She goes to the lav in socks, picks up some urine and fecal bits on them, sprinkle some more gross things from the galley and aisle, then put those disgusting things on my armrest?” one commented. “No thanks!”
Another asked: “Wait. She couldn’t walk around? Where are the flight attendants?”
Others thought it was thoughtful of her.
“So each time she has to leave, or get back to her seat, her fellow passengers, including a baby, have to get up and jostle in the aisle,” tweeted one person. “Much easier to do what she did, and those seated near her didn’t seem to mind. That is what matters most.”
