A house with a unique feature has hit the market for £492,550 – but you’ll need to be pretty close with your family members, as there are two toilets in one room

A seemingly innocent house has hit the market, but it’s hiding a bizarre feature in its bathroom that will mean you have to be incredibly close to those you share the property with.
Located in Bray, Ireland, the house is priced at a staggering €595,000, which is the equivalent of around £492,550.
But while the four-bedroom, two-bathroom house might look like an average property on the outside, DublinLive reports it’s got something odd going on in the downstairs bathroom – as it features two toilets sitting side-by-side.
Aside from the strangely intimate bathroom layout – which also has two sinks in the same bathroom – the house is a fairly standard build, even if the bright yellow walls of the living room are unlikely to be to everyone’s tastes.

The home has been listed on Daft.ie by estate agents DNG, who state the property is “delightful” and “sure to appeal” to growing families.
They said in the property description: “DNG has the pleasure to present No.16 Ardmore Park to the market. This delightful home is sure to appeal to those growing families that are looking for a family-friendly location close to schools, shops, large greens and public transport while not compromising on indoor or outdoor space.”
Although the bathroom layout is unusual, the rest of the house is spacious and would make a great family home, thanks in part to the outdoor space offered by the 25m long garden.
Upstairs, the property has four bedrooms and a bathroom with one toilet, sink and a bath – while downstairs, there’s also a living room, a den, an open plan dining room/lounge, and a kitchen.
DNG added: “The accommodation comprises a porch with a sliding patio door, a hall with stairs to the first floor and doors to the accommodation. Off to the right of the hallway is the living room with an open fireplace and an attractive cast iron mantelpiece. To the left of the hall is the den, which is an ideal kids’ playroom, home office or even a ground floor bedroom if required.
“To the front of the property is off-street parking on a cobble lock driveway that should accommodate two cars. To the rear is a wonderfully sunny and very private rear garden of approx. 25m in length.
“Personal inspection is a must to appreciate the highly regarded and extremely convenient location and the wonderful potential this family home offers.”
