Seo Ji Hoon in talks to work alongside Kim So Hyun and NUEST’s Hwang Min Hyun in a new K-drama!

Seo Ji Hoon will possibly complete the love triangle for the upcoming romance drama “Useless Lies.”

On December 16th, media outlets shared that Seo Ji Hoon will be one of the main leads of the upcoming k-drama “Useless Lies.” He will be working with confirmed main leads Kim So Hyun and NU’EST’s Hwang Min Hyun. 

If Seo Ji Hoon decided to star in the upcoming series, this will be his second upcoming drama. The actor will also join the upcoming series “King of Saju” written by Lee Sun Joo.

The actor recently starred in the k-drama “Revenge of Others” wherein he worked alongside Shin Ye Eun, Lomon, Chae Sang Woo, Lee Soo Min, and Jung Soo Bin. 

Seo Ji Hoon made his acting debut in 2016. Since then, he has been part of several k-dramas such as “Signal,” “Solomon’s Perjury,” “School 2017,” “Prison Playbook,” “Misty,” “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” “To All The Guys Who Loved Me,” “Imitation,” “Seasons of Blossom,” and more. 

“Useless Lies” will be the next work of director Nam Sung Woo who also helmed the dramas “My Roommate Is a Gumiho,” “Kkondae Intern,” “100 Days My Prince,” “Because This Is My First Life,” and “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.” 

The upcoming series is a mystery romance between a woman who cannot trust a person because of her special ability to hear lies and a famous music producer who is now a murder suspect whom no one believes that he is innocent. 

Seo Ji Hoon got the offer to play the role of Lee Kang Min. He is a detective with handsome features. He got diagnosed with gastric cancer right ahead of his plans to propose to Kim So Hyun’s character named Mok Sol Hee. Three years after him getting treatment, he sees a new man beside Mok Sol Hee and becomes overwhelmed with mixed feelings. 

“Useless Lies” will be part of the 2023 K-drama of tvN.
