Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Min Ho’s upcoming k-drama “Ask The Stars” unveils first still cuts

The much-awaited space K-drama “Ask The Stars” released its first still cuts. 

“Ask The Stars” is a romantic comedy drama set at a space station. The story will unfold the story of an astronaut and a space tourist who will meet and fall in love at a space station. 

Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin will lead the series. 

On November 22nd, the production of the series released several photos of the main characters. 

Lee Min Ho will play the role of Gong Ryong, an obstetrician and gynecologist who paid an astronomical amount to join the space travel as a tourist. Gong Hyo Jin on the other hand will play the role of Even Kim, a perfectionist, and great astronaut.

Aside from Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin, actors Oh Jung Se, Han Ji Eun, Kim Joo Heon, and Lee El will also be part of the k-drama.

“Ask The Stars” is the collaboration work of director Park Shin Woo (“Lovestruck in the City,” “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” and “Hyde, Jekyll, Me”) and writer Seo Sook Hyang (“Jealousy Incarnate” and “Pasta”).

The upcoming space drama is set to premiere in 2023. The series will exclusively air on tvN.

In the released still cuts, both main characters Captain Eve Kim and Gong Ryong are seen wearing spacesuits. Another photo showcased the close encounter between Eve Kim and Gong Ryong. Eve Kim is seen adjusting space tourist Gong Ryong’s headset while they are gazing into each other’s eyes. 

According to reports, the cast of the k-drama is doing their best daily to execute wire actions that require a high level of skills to realistically portray the weightlessness in the space station.

Many are already anticipating the premiere of the drama for its star-studded cast and interesting set.
