Kim Se Jeong is confirmed to star alongside Ahn Hyo Seop in the upcoming drama “The Office Blind Date”
On August 2nd, Kakao Entertainment announced that Kim Se Jeong was the recent addition to the cast line-up of the upcoming drama “The Office Blind Date.” Ahn Hyo Seop had previously confirmed his casting.
Produced by Kross Pictures, Inc., the upcoming SBS drama will air in 2022 and will have a total of 16 episodes. Other cast members include Seol In Ah, Kim Min Kyu, and Bae Woo Hee. “The Office Blind Date” will be
“The Office Blind Date” will be based on the webtoon of the same name written by Hae Hwa. The drama will be helmed by “Suspicious Partner” director, Park Seon Ho. Meanwhile, the script will be penned by Han Sul Hee and Hong Bo Hee.
The story will revolve around an employee named Shin Ha Ri who ends up becoming her CEO’s blind date after pretending to be her friend in exchange for hefty cash payment.
Kim Se Jeong will be playing the role of Shin Ha Ri, the employee who will pretend to be her chaebol’s friend in front of her CEO.
“The Office Blind Date” will start filming this year and it will premiere sometime next year.
“The Office Blind Date” will be Kim Se Jeong’s comeback to dramas after 2 years. She last starred in the 2020 hit OCN drama “The Uncanny Encounter.” She will also lead the upcoming series “Today’s Webtoon.” The idol-actress will also reportedly return to the second installment of “The Uncanny Counter 2.”
For this year, Kim Se Jeong focused on her singing career by releasing her solo album “I’m” and also participated in various idol activities.
