Upcoming film “Cobweb” confirms its official casts!

The upcoming movie “Cobweb” confirms the casting of Song Kang Ho, Im Soo Jung, Oh Jung Se, Jeon Yeo Been, and f(x) Krystal Jung.

On February 11th it was officially announced that Song Kang Ho, Im Soo Jung, Oh Jung Se, Jeon Yeo Been, and f(x) Krystal Jung will be working together for the upcoming film “Cobweb.” The filming will officially begin next month. 

“Cobweb” will be helmed by director Kim Jee Woon (“Dr.Brain” and “The Age of Shadows”). The script will be penned by Shin Yeon Shick (“Dong Ju: The Portrait of a Poet” and “How to Steal a Dog”). 

The upcoming movie is set in the 1970s and it will reveal the happenings when a director is obsessed with reshooting the ending of a film titled “Cobweb.” The movie will reveal the unfavorable conditions such as censorship, opposition from producers, non-cooperations from actors, and more.

Song Kang Ho will play the role of director Kim, the one who’s obsessed with creating a masterpiece. Im Soo Jung will play the role of the veteran actress named Lee Min Ja, the wife of the male lead in the movie. Oh Jung Se on the other hand will play the role of Kang Ho Se, a playboy married man and the male lead of the film. Jeon Yeo Been will be a Japanese study abroad student named Shin Mi Do who’s in charge of the production’s finances. Lastly, Krystal Jung will be Han Yoo Rim in the movie. She’s a rising actress.

“Cobweb” will be the first-ever project of Ansology Studio, the production company of director Kim Jee Won and actor Song Kang Ho.

“Cobweb” will be the reunion project of Song Kang Ho and Im Soo Jung with director Kim Jee Won. 

Song Kang Ho and director Kim Jee Won have worked for the following films “The Quiet Family,” “The Foul King,” “The Good, The Bad, The Weird,” and “The Age of Shadows.” 

Meanwhile, Im Soo Jung has worked with the director through the film “A Tale of Two Sisters.”
