T-ara’s Park Ji Yeon and Ji Il Joo will be the main leads for the upcoming Zombie movie “Gangnam”

T-ara’s Park Ji Yeon and actor Ji Il Joo will be working together for the upcoming K-Zombie film titled “Gangnam.”

On December 22nd, the distribution company J&C Media Group shared that Park Ji Yeon and Ji Il Joo have been picked as the main leads for the upcoming horror movie “Gangnam.” The movie already began its production. 

“Gangnam” will narrate the story of the happenings in Gangnam. The district has become the center of chaos. People with unknown symptoms appeared in the district. Only the persons who risks their lives will survive in it. 

The drama will be added to the list of zombie films in Korea. Some of the famous zombie films are “Train To Busan,” “Peninsula,” and the Netflix original series “Kingdom.” 

According to reports, “Gangnam” will present a new Korean style zombie film that has never been seen before. 

The premiere date of “Gangnam” is yet to be announced. 

Park Ji Yeon will play the role of Min Jung. She will risk her life to survive against zombies. This will be the comeback movie of Park Ji Yeon since 2011. She last starred in the movie “Jungle Fish 2.” In 2021, the idol-actress starred in two dramas such as “Imitation” and “Next Door Witch J.” She also returned as an idol and promoted with her group T-ara this year. 

Ji Il Joo will play the role of Hyun Suk. He is trapped in a company in Gangnam full of zombie. He will do his best to escape from it. This movie will be his follow-up project since the movie “Dragon Inn Part 2: The Night of the Gods.” The actor also made a special appearance in the 2021 film “Double Patty.” The actor is known for starring in supporting roles for the dramas “Temperature of Love,” “Argon,” “Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo,” “Age Of Youth,” and more.
