Actress Song Ha Yoon is in discussion to be the female lead of the upcoming webtoon-based drama “History of Losers.”
Several media outlets shared on February 11th that Song Ha Yoon has been picked as the female lead of the drama “History of Losers.” She will be working with Cho Byeong Kyu who was earlier reported to play the male lead role.
Song Ha Yoon’s agency hasn’t responded to the casting reports. Cho Byeong Gyu’s side hasn’t confirmed his casting as well.
The upcoming series “History of Losers” will depict its story on the Naver webtoon of the same name helmed by Kim Poong and Shim Yoon Soo. The drama will be directed by Kim Sung Hoon (“Confidential Assignment” and “Rampant”). The author of the webtoon Kim Poong will also work on the script of the drama.
“History of Losers” will reportedly air this year with 12 episodes. There are no specific details yet on where it will be broadcasted.
If Song Ha Yoon accepts the casting offer, this will be her comeback to the small screen after two years. She last starred in the 2020 drama “Please Don’t Date Him” with UKISS Lee Jun Young, APINK’s Yoon Bo Mi, Gong Min Jung, Joo Woo Jae, and Nam Min Woo.
Aside from “History of Losers,” Song Ha Yoon will also reportedly lead the upcoming drama “Oh Man Sang and Prejudice” with Ji Hyun Woo.
Song Ha Yoon made her acting debut in 2003.
