Jang Seung Jo will reportedly be the male lead of Kang So Ra in “Can We Be Strangers?”

Jang Seung Jo is in discussion to be the male lead in the upcoming drama “Can We Be Strangers?”

On May 4th several media outlets shared that Jang Seung Jo will reportedly join Kang So Ra in the new drama titled “Can We Be Strangers?”

 Actor Jang Seung-jo will play the male lead in “Can I Be Others?” In February of this year, Kang So Ra also received the offer to star in the upcoming drama. 

There is still no confirmation yet from actor Jang Seung Jo’s side. Meanwhile, Kang So Ra’s agency already stated that the actress is currently reviewing the offer. 

“Can We Be Strangers?” will be directed by Son Jae Gon, the same director of movies “Secret Zoo,” “Villain and Widow,” “My Scary Girl,” and “Fun Movie.”

If Jang Seung Jo confirms his casting, this will be the reunion project of him, Kang So Ra, and director Son Jae Gon. The three have worked together on the film “Secret Zoo.”

“Can We Be Strangers?” will reportedly be released through an OTT platform.

If Jang Seung Jo confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming drama project. He will also return to the second season of “The Good Detective 2” with Son Hyun Joo, Lee Elijah, Oh Jung Se, Ji Seung Hyun, and Kim Hyo Jin.

In 2021, Jang Seung Jo starred in the Disney+ drama “Snowdrop” starring Jung Hae In, BLACKPINK’s Kim Ji Soo, Yoo In Na, Yoon Se Ah, and Kim Hye Yoon.

The actor made his acting debut in 2010. He has starred in several dramas such as “God’s Quiz Season 4,” “Liar Game,” “The Scholar Who Walks the Night,” “Six Flying Dragons,” “My Son-In-Law’s Woman,” “The Package,” “Money Flower,” “Encounter,” “The Good Detective,” “Chocolate,” and more.
