Im Soo Hyang and Sung Hoon’s drama “Woori The Virgin” unveils its first teaser clip!

Upcoming drama “Woori The Virgin” releases its first teaser video!

On April 19th SBS released the first teaser of “Woori The Virgin” showcasing the main leads Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, and Shin Dong Wook. 

“Woori The Virgin” is the new project of director Jung Jung Hwa (“The Wind Blows”) and writer Jang Ah Mi. The series is the Korean remake of Venezuela’s 2002 series/CWTV “Jane The Virgin.” 

The story will unfold as Oh Woo Ri suddenly became pregnant because of a medical accident that happened while she went on a medical examination. The problem is, Oh Woo Ri promised to stay a virgin until she gets married plus She is currently in a romantic relationship. 

The upcoming drama will be led by Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, Shin Dong Wook, Hong Ji Yoon, Lee Min Ji, Hong Eun Hee, and more. 

“Woori The Virgin” will air exclusively on SBS. It will be part of the Monday and Tuesday drama timeslot. The series will premiere on May 9th at 10 P.M. KST.

In the teaser clip, the video started with Oh Woo Ri unintentionally receiving the bride’s bouquet. Her mother and grandmother then stated that she should get married in six months. 

It was then followed by Oh Woo Ri’s life and struggles as a drama assistant writer. She also stated that she doesn’t want to lose the center of her life, which is writing.

The next scene showcases Oh Woo Ri and Lee Kang Jae, played by Shin Dong Wook together. He also made a sweet proposal in front of a cathedral and asked Oh Woo Ri to marry him. But Oh Woo Ri, uttered a shocking confession and stated that she’s pregnant. Lee Kang Jae then asked, “who’s child is it?”

Sung Hoon’s character named Raphael was then showcased as a party-goer and happy-go-lucky person, sparking curiosity about how his role will affect the story.
