Yoon Park and Girls Generation’s Choi Soo Young to lead a new MBC drama

Yoon Park and Girls Generation’s Choi Soo Young will be the main leads of the upcoming MBC drama “Send a Fan Letter.” 

On September 15th, MBC confirmed that Yoon Park and Choi Soo Young are confirmed to lead the upcoming drama “Send a Fan Letter.” 

“Send a Fan Letter” is a romantic comedy 4 episode drama that will revolve around a top actress who’s struggling with the biggest crisis in her career life and a man who has to protect his daughter’s heart with a fake fan letter reply. 

The upcoming series will be directed by Jung Sang Hee who also co-directed the drama “From Now On, Showtime!”

Yoon Park will play the role of Bang Jung Seok, an unmarried man who raises his daughter alone. Her daughter is suffering from a blood disease. Meanwhile, Choi Soo Young will play the role of Han Kang Hee, a Hallyu goddess actress that will face the biggest crisis of her career because of fan letters.

“Send a Fan Letter” will officially premiere this November. It will exclusively premiere on MBC.

This will be the second drama of Yoon Park for the year. He was also part of the series “Forecasting Love and Weather” together with Park Min Young, Song Kang, Girls Day Yura, Kim Mi Kyung, and Jung Woon Sun. 

Same with Choi Soo Young, this will also be her second drama for the year. She is currently starring in the KBS drama “If You Wish Upon Me” with Ji Chang Wook, Sung Dong Il, Won Ji An, Yang Hee Kyung, and Kil Hae Yeon. The idol actress will also join the upcoming drama “Namnam” with Jeon Hye Jin. She recently participated in the promotions of her group Girls Generation’s fifteenth-anniversary comeback.
