“The High Priest Rembrary” announces official cast lineup!

“The High Priest Rembrary” confirmed the actors that will lead the series.

On July 22nd it was confirmed that aside from Kim Min GueGo Bo GyeolLee Jang Woo, and Ye Ji Won will also join the upcoming drama “The High Priest Rembrary.” 

“The High Priest Rembrary” is a fantasy romance series that will revolve around a high priest named Rembrary who possessed the body of an unknown idol named Woo Yeon Woo. Rembrary is a high priest from another world. He came to earth to go against the demon king. When he woke up, he possessed the body of a handsome idol. The series will base its story on the web novel titled “Holy Idol” (literal translation).

Kim Min Gue will play the role of Rembrary. As he seeks to fight for the demon king, he will unexpectedly enter the body of a handsome unknown idol. Go Bo Gyeol will play the role of Kim Dal, the manager of the unknown k-pop group. She graduated from a prestigious university. She does her job well. Lee Jang Woo will play the role of Shin Shin Woon, the close friend of Rembrary and a CEO of an entertainment agency. Ye JI Won will play the role of Lim Seon Ja, the CEO of the agency where idol Woo Yeon Woo belongs.

“The High Priest Rembrary” will premiere in the first half of 2023. No other broadcast details have been revealed yet.

This drama will be the follow-up project of Kim Min Gue after the hit series “A Business Proposal” with Ahn Hyo Seop Kim Se Jeong Seol In Ah. This will also be his big break in his acting career. 

Kim Min Gue made his acting debut in 2013. The actor has mainly starred as the second lead or supporting role in the past. He has starred in several dramas such as “Snowdrop,” “So I Married an Anti-Fan,” “Backstreet Rookie,” “Queen: Love And War,” “Just Between Lovers,” “Because This Is My First Life,” “Signal,” “Who Are You: School 2015,” and more.
