All-round entertainer Tak Jae Hoon is officially returning to dramas next year!
On July 28th media outlets shared that Tak Jae Hoon will be part of the upcoming tvN drama “The High Priest Rembrary.” Tak Jae Hoon also shared on the latest episode of the program “My Little Old Boy” that he will be starring in a tvN drama and has already signed the contract.
“The High Priest Rembrary” will base its story on the Naver web novel titled “Holy Idol” (literal translation). The series will showcase the story of a high priest called Rembrary who got to enter the body of an unknown idol named Woo Yeon Woo. Rembrary is a high priest from another world who has to fight the demon king.
Tak Jae Hoon will play the role of Sun Woo Sil, a senior singer in the entertainment agency, Wild Animal. He has both singing and entertainment skills.
The drama will be led by Kim Min Gue, Go Bo Gyeol, Lee Jang Woo, and Ye Ji Won.
“The High Priest Rembrary” is set to premiere in the first half of 2023.
This will be the official comeback of Tak Jae Hoon to the drama scene after over a decade. He made special appearances in the dramas “Backstreet Rookie” and “Dark Hole” but this will be his official return as part of a cast of a series.
Tak Jae Hoon is currently active in the entertainment world. He is part of the shows “My Little Old Boy” and “Dolsing Fourmen.”
In 1995, he made his debut as a solo singer. Aside from being active as a singer, he also made a mark in the entertainment world for his wit.
Tak Jae Hoon also ventured into acting and starred in the dramas “Soonpoong Clinic,” “City Hall,” “The Queen Returns,” and movies “Everybody Has Secrets,” “Marrying the Mafia II: Enemy-in-Law,” “Barefoot Ki Bong,” “The Little Prince,” and more.
