SF9’s Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah in talks to team up in a new romance drama!

SF9’s Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah will possibly work together for an upcoming JTBC series.

On October 14th, media outlets reported that Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah have been picked to star in the upcoming drama “This Relationship Is Force Majeure.”

Rowoon’s agency FNC Entertainment responded to the casting reports and revealed that the idol actor is positively considering his appearance in the drama. The same goes with Jo Bo Ah, her agency KeyEast revealed that the actress is also reviewing the offered drama positively.

“This Relationship Is Force Majeure” will tell the romance between a woman who got a hold of a forbidden book that was sealed 300 years ago and a man who will be the victim of the forbidden book.

Rowoon got the offer to play the role of Jang Shin Yu, a legal advisor to Onju City Hall. Last August, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo also got the offer to play the same role.

Jo Bo Ah on the other hand received the offer to play the character named Lee Jong Jo, a public official working for Onju City Hall’s Green Area Division.

The series will be the collaboration work of director Nam Ki Hoon (“Kiss Sixth Sense” and “Voice 3: City of Accomplices”) and writer Noh Ji Sul (“100 Days My Prince” and “Scent of a Woman”).

“This Relationship Is Force Majeure” will reportedly start filming in November.

If Rowoon confirms his casting, this will be his follow-up drama after 2022’s “Tomorrow.” The idol actor is currently starring in the entertainment program “House on Wheels 4” together with Sung Dong Il and Kim Hee Won.

Meanwhile, this will also possibly be the next project of Jo Bo Ah after “Military Prosecutor Doberman.” She is set to return to the fantasy genre after almost three years.
