Park Gyu Young is confirmed as the female lead of the upcoming drama “A Good Day to be a Dog.”
On September 23rd, it was officially confirmed that Park Gyu Young will be joining ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo in the upcoming drama “A Good Day to be a Dog.”
“A Good Day to be a Dog” will depict its story from the popular webtoon of the same name. It will revolve around Hana who is bound to inherit her family curse which is turning into a dog after getting her first kiss. The only way to break the curse is to get a second kiss. The problem is the guy who gave Hana her first kiss is afraid of dogs.
The upcoming series will be the collaboration work of director Kim Dae Woong and writer Baek In Ha. It will be produced by Group Eight.
The series will be led by Park Gyu Young, Cha Eun Woo, Lee Hyun Woo, and Lee Seo El.
Park Gyu Young will play the role of Hana, a teacher will a pretty face and pleasant personality. However, she will face the biggest crisis of her life after getting her first kiss from Ji Seo Won (Cha Eun Woo’s character).
“A Good Day to be a Dog” will begin filming this coming October.
Park Gyu Young last starred in the 2021 drama “Dali and the Cocky Prince.” She didn’t star in any projects this year but there were several confirmed news about her upcoming dramas.
Aside from “A Good Day to be a Dog,” Park Gyu Young will also star in the 2023 series “Celebrity” with CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk, Lee Chung Ah, Lee Dong Gun, and SECRET’s Jeon Hyo Sung.
Park Gyu Young is also expected to return to the new seasons of “Sweet Home Season 2.” She will continue to portray the role of Yoon Ji Su.
