Lee Bong Ryun confirmed her first drama for 2023.
On August 16th, it was confirmed that Lee Bong Ryun will be joining the upcoming tvN drama “Ilta Scandal.” The series will air in the first half of 2023 and this will be the first drama project of the actress for next year.
“Ilta Scandal” will depict the romance between a top private education instructor whose sensitive and indifferent to people and a new employee at the private education institution with a bright and positive personality.
The series will be led by Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon. The series will be the next collaboration work of Yoo Je Won (“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”) and writer Yang Hee Seung (“Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo”). Previously, the team also handled the dramas “Oh My Ghost” and “High School King of Savvy.”
Lee Bong Ryun will play the role of Kim Young Joo, the best friend of Jeon Do Yeon’s character Jeon Do Yeon, Nam Haeng Seon. She is also a former athlete and part of the national team. She now works alongside Jeon Do Yeon on their side dish store.
Other casts of the drama include Roh Yoon Seo and Shin Jae Ha.
“Ilta Scandal” will exclusively premiere on tvN and will be part of their releases for the first half of next year.
Lee Bong Ryun recently made a special appearance in the hit ENA drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.” This was her first drama for the year. Before 2022 ends, the actress will join the upcoming series “Narco-Saints” together with Ha Jung Woo, Hwang Jung Min, Park Hae Soo, Jo Woo Jin, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Choo Ja Hyun.
