Koo Kyo Hwan and Jeon So Nee received the offer to lead the upcoming Netflix original series “The Gray.”
On July 5th it was reported that Jeon So Nee also received the offer to star in the upcoming series “The Gray.” Last month, it was reported that Koo Kyo Hwan will be the male lead of the series and he will reunite with the director in charge.
Jeon So Nee’s agency Namoo Actors responded to the casting reports. The agency shared that Jeon So Nee is positively considering appearing in the upcoming series. Koo Kyo Hwan is also positively considering the series.
“The Gray” will be the next work of director Yeon Sang Ho (“Train to Busan,” “Psychokinesis,” and “Peninsula.”) The series will base its story on the popular Japanese animation titled “Parasyte.”
The “Parasyte” is a 24-part animation in 2014. It showcased the mysterious parasitic creatures that slaughter humans. The animation became popular in the global market for its grotesque visuals, philosophical message, and solid development in the story.
This will possibly be the next work of Koo Kyo Hwan and director Yeon Sang Ho together. They have worked together in the series “Monstrous” and the movie “Peninsula.”
“The Gray” is currently in talks to be a Netflix original series.

She will also join the cast of the upcoming drama “Que Sera, Sera.”
Jeon So Nee made her acting debut in 2016. She was part of the dramas “Encounter,” “When My Love Blooms,” “Scripting Your Destiny,” and “Dr. Brain.”
The actress will also join the cast of the upcoming film “Soul Mate” with Kim Da Mi, Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Soo Hyung, and Nam Yoon Su.
