Bong Tae Kyu will reportedly reunite with Lee Ji Ah in the upcoming tvN series “First Lady.”
On July 20th the media outlet News1 reported that Bong Tae Kyu will be added to the cast of the upcoming tvN series “First Lady.”
“First Lady” will be the collaboration work of director Choi Young Hoon of “One The Woman” and scriptwriter Kim Soon Ok (“The Penthouse: War in Life” trilogy).
The upcoming series will be led by Lee Ji Ah, Lee Sang Yoon, Jang Hee Jin, and Park Ki Woong.
This will be the reunion drama of Bong Tae Kyu and Lee Ji Ah after starring in the three seasons of “The Penthouse: War in Life.” This will also be their reunion with the scriptwriter.
Meanwhile, there’s no definite date yet on the premiere of “First Lady.” The series will exclusively be available on tvN.
Bong Tae Kyu has shown his friendship and loyalty to the cast and crew of “The Penthouse: War in Life.” He has participated in the actors’ and crews’ other projects after the series has ended.
He has last seen in the drama “Sh**ting Stars.” He made a special participation in the series together with Uhm Ki Joon to support Penthouse co-stars Yoon Jong Hoon and Ha Do Gwon who are part of the drama.
“First Lady” will be the follow-up series of Bong Tae Kyu after “The Penthouse: War in Life.”
Bong Tae Kyu is currently busy with several variety programs such as “World Dark Tour,” “Oh! My Wedding,” and “Your Literacy+.”
