This is the translated version of Yoo Joo Eun’s last letter:
I am sorry for leaving first. I am especially sorry to Mom, Dad, Grandma, and my older brother. My heart is screaming that I don’t want to live anymore. You may feel emptiness without me but please stay strong. I will be watching over you. Don’t cry, please. You’ll be hurt.
I’m definitely not sad at all now. I am very calm. Maybe because I have thought about this for a long time.
I’ve lived a happy life that was more than I deserved. So now, I am content. This is enough. So please do not blame anyone and move on.
I’m not dead, so everyone, please live a good life. I hope to see many people at my funeral and check each other if someone is having a hard time.
I really want to act. Perhaps it was my all, and it was a part of me. But it wasn’t easy to live that life. I’m not interested in doing anything else. That was so hopeless. I realized that having something you want to do is both a blessing and a curse.
I believe God loves me so he won’t send me to hell. He understands what I feel and he will take care of me. So don’t worry everyone.
And to my loving family, friends, and loves. Thank you for looking at me fondly and loving me. That became my strength and my smile. I lived with unforgettable memories until the end so I believe I’ve lived a successful life. Thank you for accepting and understanding me who is lacking and impatient. I’m sorry I can’t express it well. You understand how I feel right?
And to all the great relationships that I’ve created, especially with the teachers, I am beyond grateful and my respect is with you all. Thank you for giving me a lot of life lessons.
Mom, Dad, I love you. Please, don’t cry.
